Peavey 14

600-hp Diesel Switcher

Peavey 14 served many years at the Shoreham grain elevator in Minneapolis. It was retired due to extensive repair requirements, and donated to MTM in 2004. Like Andersen Windows 3110, it is a 600-hp model SW-1. It differs from 3110 in two important respects. First, the two stage taper in the hood, just ahead of the cab, indicates it is a pre-war model. Also, it's electrical cabinet is very small and simple, because it was built without transition.

Peavey 14 has always been an industrial unit.
